Overview

Zachry was awarded two Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) projects to widen and reconstruct southern portion of the Beltway 8 (BW8) tollway facility. This first project (Contract 338) begins South of Spencer Highway to North of Greenshadow Drive along the Sam Houston Tollway East. The second project (Contract 346) begins North of Greenshadow Drive and continues to Jacinto Port Road.

Scope of work included concrete paving, bridge construction, drainage improvements, mechanically stabilized earth walls, water and sewer relocations, toll booths, high mast lightings and sound walls.
